A juxtaposition of two fundamental materials. Each mechanism shown above has a distinct “bluing” found in the original watches, which have been crafted by the watchmaker and accentuated artistically to tie-in with the indigo-textured backdrop.
Also :
Latest Pocket-watch creations above, where secondary elements have been embedded within the mechanisms themselves. The beauty here is the nature of the condition of the pocket-watch, where each is either intact or broken-down in a unique way. Some pieces have an Egyptology feel, which I think is interesting to be combined with the Steampunk aesthetic..

So to sum now; you’re pieces are like magic! and given that I’ve been to every state, I say with confidence, there’s no other state in Australia (or possibly the world) that is so inextricably magical! Its architectural creations is testament to the fact that it prides itself in the beauty of juxtaposing the traditional and the contemporary. Also, Melbourne is the fashion capital, with great appreciation for edgy, indie and unique designs!

I had to re-read this article and take a proper look at the photos since the whole demin and machinery theme didn’t really appeal to me at first until i noticed the extra embellishments you added to the pocket watches.
I must say I was completely blown away by the way the demin actually seems to camouflage the metallic insects embedded on the watches, i dont know if this was on purpose or not but it made the images look more organic and less cold – it was quite astounding.

I find the shoot thinly veiled in pretensiousness as opposed to elegant subtlety .
